Goodbye Onward.

Of course we were one of the last to leave our stateroom. Lots of last minute throwing stuff in bags.

Collected the luggage, we thought. Then I realized one bag was missing. Damn! But the folks in the terminal were very helpful.

Roman was our driver to the hotel. An intermediary stop was necessary at Fed Ex to drop three pieces of luggage. I think we have enough luggage allowance but it’s more bags than a couple of old folks can handle!

Waited in the lobby for an hour or two for the room to be ready. Then proceeded to spend the afternoon watching Euro Cup. Oops. Italy just scored a goal for Spain! No need to eat a meal. Joe and I have eaten well for 167 days.

To the zoo, oh, I meant Heathrow in the morning. Flying to AGS through CLT. If all goes well we will be home before dark.

  1. What an amazing trip! Too bad all good things must end! But, welcome back to terra firma!

Thanks for blogging everything. It was great fun following along. Maybe in another 10 years or so, I’ll try one of these!
