Sir Bani Yas, UAE

So if you are wondering, “Where is Sir Bani Yas?,” I think you are not alone. It is an island that is part of the Al Gharbia region of the United Arab Emirates.

Sir Bani Yas has an expansive wildlife reserve, featuring indigenous and other species. Basically is Neverland Ranch for one of the Arab bigwigs.

But what the brochures don’t say is that it is the Coco Cay of the Persian Gulf. There is a cruise ship dock that leads to a beach with chairs and thatched roof tables. And there is an area for feeding the hungry cruise ship passengers.

Row after row of lounge chairs.
An okay beach. Not much to see snorkeling.
It provided a spectacular sunset, though.
