Hong Kong

The ship had an escort into the harbor

The original itinerary was two days in Hong Kong. That was shortened to one day with the bunkering stop in Cebu City.

Our welcome from the Hong Kong Tourism board

So with only one day Joe and I opted for the Hop On Hop Off bus tour and the tram to the top of Victoria Mountain.

Hong Kong Comic Con is happening this weekend
The entrance to a city park
The ship from the top of the mountain.
A panorama of the skyline from the observation deck.
After the bus tour the Temple Street Night Market. I did not buy anything!
A panorama of Hong Kong at night just after the spectacular laser show.

Moving on to Vietnam…

  1. How was your trip to the Night Market? Was it worth visiting?

    1. Along the way I went to several night markets. This one was not particularly unique. And the prices weren’t as good as others. Cairns, Australia comes to mind. In addition, we got to the market early and a lot of vendors were still setting up their booth. I would go if I hadn’t been to one. Take cash, don’t pay the asking price.

  2. Hang on to your pictures and we can compare to mine from visits around 1970. There appear to be a few more buildings especially that tall one in the middle. Jim
