Napier

Napier, located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, is renowned for its stunning Art Deco architecture, vibrant cultural scene, and picturesque coastal setting. Here are some key points about Napier:

Napier is known as the “Art Deco Capital of the World.” The city’s unique architecture is a result of a major rebuilding effort following a devastating earthquake in 1931. Today, visitors can take guided walking tours to admire the beautifully restored Art Deco buildings, characterized by geometric shapes, bright colors, and intricate designs.
