This day was devoted to cruising the Beagle Channel, a 240-km (150-mile) long, 3-to-8-mile-wide strait in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago at the southern tip of South America, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Named for the HMS Beagle which surveyed the area in the 1820s-1830s, famously carrying Charles Darwin.
The scenery was fabulous. And it rained a couple of times. Joe and I spent the day on Deck 10 in the Living Room, reading and enjoying the view.

We grazed on the snacks and tapas provided and participated in some of the games and quizzes. It was a relaxing afternoon.
Punta Arenas tomorrow.
