The day began with a mandatory IAATO briefing on the regulations for visiting Antarctica. Afterwards, I went in search of a bridge game. But since all passengers had to attend the lecture at 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM, there was no game.
Lunch in Windows Cafe of Caesar Salad and Butter Pecan gelato. Yummy!
At 1:00 I attended the seminar “Where Are We Going? What Will We See? It was a team effort from the Expedition Team of Caroline Still, Charles Lagerbom, and Robin Frisch-Gleason. It was enriching.
The afternoon was filled with R&R as the seas were getting a bit rough. Our stateroom is on Deck 6 so being lower is better.
Dinner in Discoveries was consommé and lemon sorbet for me. Joe enjoyed his usual shrimp cocktail appetizer followed by a pork scallopini oscar.
The ship has sufficient passengers to have two evening shows. We haven’t been to one yet, maybe tomorrow.
