A quiet morning followed by a Distillery Tour

This distillery is new. Consequently it doesn’t have any of its own whisky. In order for whisky to be scotch whisky it must be: made in Scotland, aged for at least three years and one day, and aged in oak barrels. It can only contain three ingredients—barley, water and yeast. Variations of the process allow for the different flavors.

This distillery has its own gin, but the whisky served for the tasting was from another distillery. So no need to pay an additional £10. to taste whisky from another distillery.
This distillery has been making spirits for 18 months. It will be a few more years before the whisky is bottled for sale.
Marianne checked out the Ocean Terminal shopping area and purchased a few sundries while Joe headed back to the ship. Since this is being written a few days after the fact, the rest of the day is a blur. Sorry readers.
Tomorrow Aberdeen!
