Heading to Copenhagen for the end of the first leg of the back-to-back.
Joe and Marianne checked out the Club Continent Suite on the ship with an eye toward a future booking.

Marianne attended the Expo (a fair of sorts—each of the departments has a display of their wares) and received a ticket for a drawing at 2:00. Bingo was at 2:00 also. And since there is an abundance of Onboard Credit Marianne played Bingo with house money. The only game was cover the card. If covered within 52 balls, a free cruise is the prize.

One of the enrichment speakers was a geologist. Her final talk was a walk-through of the ship to see different types of rock. Very interesting.

There was a jewelry show at 4:00. I went since Melinda and Kerrie were modeling ( there is a picture, but it won’t download).
Back to the stateroom to dress for the evening. A cocktail party with Bob and Karrie to say goodbye to Mark and Melinda. And then the Perry Golf Farewell. The prizes for the previous day’s competition were awarded. And I won low net of the ladies!

Dinner was in Discoveries with two of the couples who had also played golf on the cruise. A lovely evening.
This was a fabulous itinerary. Eleven ports in Norway with fabulous weather. A lot was learned about the Nazi occupation during WW II, the effect of North Sea oil on the country. Interestingly Norway is part of the Schengen Zone and NATO but not in the EU. The landscape is beautiful. Cruising has to be one of the best ways to see the country in a limited period of time. Viking history and the Sami people were also part of the education about Norway. Definitely one of the favorite cruises taken.
