La Caruna

A city on the north coast of Spain on the Bay of Biscay. Dreary weather today coupled with clocks moved forward an hour overnight caused a slow start to the day.

Into town to explore a bit of the Maritime Promenade and find a glass of wine. Joe and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of Albariño and a snack. The rain came whilst we were at the cafe. So another glass of delicious wine was in order.

Back to the ship to think about packing and read the books we brought from home to leave in the ship’s library.

White Night is tonight. But it has been moved indoors due to chilly, windy, potentially wet weather. As I have said before, White Night isn’t the same when it is inside. Joe and I opted for dinner in Discoveries and skipped the show.

Luggage tags were delivered. Three! Ha! Knowing what I know now I might have been able to pack less but as it is two more luggage tags will be needed.

Sea Day tomorrow as the ship travels to St. Peter Port, Guernsey.
