Barcelona-Day 155

38850 or so nautical miles. Thirty-five countries. An almost full passport.

Let the record show I cried first when Jay and Carrie left. I’m hoping for a golf outing in the Savannah area soon so I can see Jay again and take peaches to Carrie. Jay and Carrie will explore Barcelona for a few days before heading back to Jacksonville.

Jim and Becky will also stay in Barcelona a few days. Then on to Charleston for a Navy League function.

Joe and I headed off to Segrada Familia via subway for a guided tour at noon.

Nativity Facade. Wow! The scaffolding is almost gone.
The inside is as beautiful as I remember it from our previous visit in 2019.
The main entrance won’t be an entrance until the building blocking the entrance is demolished some time between now and 2026 when construction is completed.
The Passion Entrance
The altar
Poor attempt at a selfie to get a picture of the ceiling.
The picture doesn’t do justice to the colored fruit on op of the “points.”
Another view of The Passion Facade.

Back to the ship for the final muster drill. Departure at 18:00.
