Three Sea Days

This is the last multiple sea day experience of the journey. Kinda sad to be talking about lasts.

We transited the Straits of Gibraltar.

The Captain is quite the character. He was a full captain at age 25. His daily noon announcements are informative, insightful and humorous. And, yes, Joe has not had a haircut since December. Captain Carl insists that his junior officers learn the sextant. He is Manx by birth and lives in Croatia. The oldest son is an Olympic caliber gymnast. A farmer at heart and a fascinating gentleman.

Day 2

Aqua aerobics followed by a lecture by Greg Redfern on the James Webb Space Telescope. Afternoon bridge and a wonderful Asian dinner on the Veranda at the stern of the ship.

Capped off by a beautiful sunset.

Day 3

The usual daily activities were followed by a Gala Dinner. The dinner was moved inside from the pool deck because of potential in climate weather.

And create, they did!
My favorite
First Place
Yummy!

Dinner was followed by a show with Jakub Trasak. He is a violinist playing contemporary music.

Tomorrow Tunisia.
