Travel Day

So the group had to go “around the end” to get to Walvis Bay to meet the ship.

There is a direct flight. But the aircraft seats less than 40. So we flew east two hours to Johannesburg to change planes and fly to Walvis Bay, Namibia
The line for immigration at Walvis Bay International AirPort
Woohoo. Three flights a day!

There wear three immigration officers but it seemed to take forever for everyone to get finished and on the bus. And then when we arrived at the port we had to line up and do it again as we were exiting the country. The country is home to three million people. Perhaps there is an immigration issue.

Nine sea days ahead…
