The ship was in Bangkok for three days. One of those days Joe and I were traveling from Siem Reap to Bangkok. Joe had hoped to have a suit custom made but the heat of the previous days in Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap were taking their toll. So we chose to stay on the ship when we returned.

Day two was the HOHO bus. And it was HOT in Bangkok. We got off the bus at the Golden Buddha.

Solid gold.

Then it was a group of four decision to walk to the next HOHO stop. We were a few minutes early so a cold beer stop was in order. When we finished that the group went to what we thought was the bus stop. But the bus passed us by. Damn.

So we piled in a tuk tuk for a ride to the next HOHO stop. Except the instructions in the HOHO brochure weren’t quite right. But we did find an interesting market area. And FINALLY caught up with the HOHO bus.

The drop point from the ship shuttle was Centre World, a seven story enclosed shopping area. Joe boarded the shuttle. I went in search of a massage and mani/pedi. No availability for a massage but I did get a mani/pedi with no polish on my hands for
