The second day was a half day. So with a couple other world cruisers I headed into town on the shuttle. There was a wonderful “market”, a phenomenon found in Southeast Asia.
My friend Kathleen was seeking a pair of wide leg crop pants. Finding something that wasn’t “doll-size” was a challenge. But our search was finally fruitful but the pants were full-length. The shop proprietor offered to have them hemmed to crop length. Within ten minutes he was back with crop pants!
A unique shopping experience, for sure.
