Papua New Guinea-March 10

Cruise ships began including Papua New Guinea in itineraries a few years ago. The options for excursions are limited. I think I found a good one.

Our guide was Ben. The tour emphasized the involvement of PNG in World War II. Included were four sights of significance to the Battle of Milne Bay and those who fought in it.

I am humbled by what I saw and learned in Alotau. The war memorials and people were the reason.
